Jarred Cohen CPA CBV

Biography

Jarred joined the firm’s Audit and Assurance group as a junior auditor in January of 2018 providing assurance and tax services to a diverse range of clients. His current focus is on business valuations, corporate finance and M&A advisory across various industries including wholesale and import and distribution.

In 2020, Jarred successfully passed the Common Final Examination (CFE) and earned his Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation while pursuing his Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation. He earned the second‑highest result on the Membership Qualification Examination (MQE) and in 2022 officially received the CBV designation.

More recently, Jarred's focus has shifted toward strengthening the advisory practice in Montréal. He plays a significant role as a member of the Baker Tilly Canada CBV Committee and collaborates closely with other offices within the network on a variety of advisory projects and engagements.
