Biography

Jim Moir joined Collins Barrow Chatham Kent in 1993 and was admitted to the partnership in 1997 (Collins Barrow rebranded as Baker Tilly in January 2019).

Jim has over 30 years of experience in the profession providing accounting, taxation and financial advisory solutions to owner-managed businesses and high net worth individuals. Jim prides himself in providing his clients with common sense solutions in areas such as succession planning, purchase and sale of businesses, retirement and estate planning.

Jim qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 and completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course in 1998. He qualified as a Certified Financial Planner in 2000. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo.
