Francesca Loreto CPA CA

Biography

A leader on Baker Tilly KDN’s (BT KDN) Tax team, Francesca Loreto began her accounting career as a co-op student at the firm in 2013. After graduating from the University of Waterloo, Francesca worked in accounting and assurance at BT KDN before discovering her interest in tax. Promoted to manager in 2022, and promoted to senior manager in 2024, she helps guide clients as they look to the future through strategic tax planning.

Francesca obtained her Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2018 and completed the In Depth Tax Program in 2021. She also holds a masters of accounting from the University of Waterloo. A member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, she is currently working towards her Trust and Estate Practitioner designation.

Francesca enjoys giving back to the community and shares her expertise as treasurer on the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation’s board of directors. She also co-hosts BT KDN's podcast, From the Source with Frankie & Sarah.
