Emily Marston CPA

Biography

Emily Marston joined Baker Tilly KDN LLP as a Staff Accountant in 2019 after earning an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Business and Information Technology (specializing in Accounting) from the Ontario Tech University. She later obtained a graduate diploma in accounting and earned her CPA designation.

During her time at Baker Tilly, she primarily worked on assurance engagements for private companies and not-for-profit organizations, progressing to a supervisory role before leaving the firm to explore a career in accounting education and professional development.

Emily returned to the firm in 2024 as Director of Professional Standards and Training. In this role, she leverages her passion for training and research to help colleagues realize their career potential and support the professional practice with technical interpretations. With a strong focus on quality, Emily also oversees the firm’s quality management system and is responsible for standards and training.
