Darcy Allan CPA CA

Biography

Darcy has proudly been a part of Baker Tilly (formerly Collins Barrow) since he was a student. He first worked in audit, followed by insolvency special services until 1987 when he and another accountant started their own firm that is now Baker Tilly Rockies LLP. 

The depth and breadth of his experience has been paramount to the success of the firm. He gained this experience working with his significant number of for-profit and not-for-profit clients. 

Darcy graduated from University of Calgary in 1977 with a Bachelor of Commerce. He entered the Chartered Accountant (CA) program and earned his designation in 1979.  

After stepping down from the partnership in January 2025, Darcy now gets to enjoy his retirement, or semi-retirement as he still counsels a few clients and staff alike. One can find him adventuring in the mountains with his wife, Becky, or helping his family on their various life endeavours.
