Daniel Hinz

With over 12 years of experience in the financial services and commercial banking sector, Daniel has worked with hundreds of companies structuring, negotiating, and executing credit strategies. Working with a large network of lenders across Canada, Daniel will continue to structure and arrange credit facilities for clients across a diverse range of industries.

Prior to joining Baker Tilly Canada Capital Corporation, Daniel worked with a strategic capital provider in the mid-market on deal sizes ranging from $5 to $50+ million. In recognition of his performance, Daniel received Roynat Capital’s Best of the Best award in 2018.

Daniel earned his BBA in Finance & Entrepreneurial Leadership from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

Professional, community and social affiliations

Since 2016, Daniel has served as a committee member on the Surrey Board of Trade’s Youth Entrepreneurial Advocacy Program. As an avid, rock climber and golfer, Daniel brings the same level of focus and problem-solving skills to those pursuits as he does to his professional endeavors.
