Brian Mitchell CPA CA

Biography

Brian has been with Baker Tilly Rockies LLP (formerly Collins Barrow) since 1988. He previously worked in the Saskatoon office of Coopers and Lybrand while he articled and was promoted to manager.  

Brian provides advisory and other services to numerous private businesses, but his speciality is in taxation. 

Brian inadvertently agreed to partnership at Baker Tilly Rockies LLP in 1990.  

He graduated from University of Saskatchewan in 1982 with a Bachelor of Commerce. He entered the Chartered Accountant (CA) program garnering the gold medal in that province’s tax program and earned his designation in 1985. He discovered his passion in taxation completing the In-Depth Tax and G.S.T. In Residence Programs in 2000 and 2002 respectively.  

Brian leads the charge in demonstrating to our firm the effectiveness of a hybrid working platform as he successfully manages his large practice in between the latest great read.
