Biography

Ben graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 2009 and obtained his accounting designation while working for a professional services firm in Fredericton, New Brunswick. In 2011 he joined a national firm in Halifax, Nova Scotia and in 2013 he re-located to Auckland, New Zealand with this same firm. In 2015 he returned to Halifax and joined Baker Tilly as a Manager.

Ben has assurance, advisory, and tax experience with clients ranging from small owner managed businesses to large global corporations across a variety of sectors and industries. Specific areas of experience include: management consulting; systems conversions and integrations; financial projections and forecasting; data analytics; analysis of complex accounting issues; and review and evaluation of internal controls and management information systems.

Ben currently volunteers his time with two small not-for-profits, Nova Scotia SurfAble Association and The Social and Beneficial Society of Cow Bay.
