Andrew MacKinnon CPA

Biography

Andrew MacKinnon is a Senior Manager at Baker Tilly's Morrisburg and Kemptville offices. He began his career in public accounting at Baker Tilly before moving into industry as a Director of Finance and Partner of a financial advisory firm where he gained hands-on experience in strategic finance, operations, and business growth. Upon returning to public accounting in 2026, he brings a practical and business-owner perspective to his work. His areas of expertise include personal and corporate taxation, financial reporting and advisory services with a strong focus on delivering clear and practical solutions to clients. 

Andrew is an alumnus of the University of Ottawa where he graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce with a Specialization in Accounting and received his CPA and CA designations in 2015. 

When he’s not in the office, Andrew enjoys travelling with his wife and two boys. Whether it’s planning the next big trip or discovering new destinations, travel allows him to recharge and gain fresh perspective- something he brings back into his work with clients.
