Biography

Amy Gibson Saab is a Partner at Harbinger Law focusing on tax issues for business owners including incorporation, reorganization, acquisition, succession planning, trusts and estate planning. She has been recognized as one of "The Best Lawyers in Canada" in tax law (2025).

Amy has presented on a variety of topics, including corporate structuring, shareholders’ relations and income tax matters. She is deeply invested in augmenting her expertise via ongoing professional development and has completed Parts I, II and III of the In-Depth Tax Course offered by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, as well as the advanced course on In-Depth Tax Issues for the Owner-Managed Business.

Amy received her law degree from the University of New Brunswick. She was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2010 and subsequently admitted to the New Brunswick Bar in 2022. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (History) from Dalhousie University. She practiced in a leading regional law firm for more than 10 years before joining Baker Tilly Nova Scotia and Harbinger Law to explore new ideas about the delivery of legal services.
