Biography

Alex joined the firm as a university co-op student in 2009. He graduated from Brock University in 2012 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Charter Professional Accountant in 2013.

Alex’s expertise is providing accounting and assurance services to manufacturing companies, municipalities and rate-regulated hydro electricity distributors. He also has extensive experience with a wide array of non-profit organizations such as private golf and ski clubs, and daycares.

Alex also maintains a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, overseeing preparation of tax returns and providing tax planning advice.

Internally Alex is a member of the firm’s Information Technology Committee.

Born and raised in Collingwood, Alex has also been involved in community activities including volunteering for Collingwood Minor Hockey and SK8 Georgian Bay Powerskating. He is a member and Treasurer (2021 - present) of the Rotary Club of Collingwood South Georgian Bay, and a founding member of the Rotaract Club of South Georgian Bay.

He stays active as a member of the Collingwood Mens’ Hockey League, Flesherton Mens’ Hockey League, Wasaga Beach Slow-Pitch League, and is an avid golfer and current Master's champion at the Golf Club.
