Biography

Alessandro graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph in 2014 and earned his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA) designations in 2017, followed by his U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA, Illinois) designation in 2018.

After seven years at another local Guelph firm, Alessandro joined Baker Tilly GWD LLP in 2021 as an Advisory and Tax Manager. He specializes in supporting clients across diverse industries with comprehensive tax planning and compliance solutions, including corporate restructuring, estate planning, investment income tax strategies, and Canadian and U.S. tax filings.

Beyond his professional commitments, Alessandro is passionate about giving back to the academic community. From 2023 to 2025, he served as a sessional lecturer at the University of Guelph, teaching senior-level tax courses. In his personal time, he enjoys staying active through playing sports and spending time with family and friends.
