Your role

  • Working closely with partners, managers, or other senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision and tax advisory engagements.
  • Delivering high quality tax planning, services, and advice.
  • Leading special tax engagements.
  • Providing support, coaching and professional development to firm staff with respect to tax knowledge and tax matters on an ongoing basis.
  • Identifying and cultivating new sales/service opportunities for clients.
  • Preparing and presenting technical sessions to firm staff.

What you bring to the table 

  • 6 or more years of experience plus of progressive public accounting experience with a focus in taxation
  • CPA designation
  • Completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax program or Masters of Tax Program
  • Prior experience working on complex tax transactions
  • Excellent analytical skills and creativity to identify problems and potential solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage people and client deliverables
  • Experience with Caseware and tax research software
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with others in teams
  • Proven project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
  • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset

Job type: 

  • Permanent, Full-time 

Your schedule: 

  • Monday to Friday 

Salary range: $105,000-$155,000 per annum.
