Your Role
- Lead and oversee assurance and accounting engagement teams, ensuring effective planning, execution, and completion in accordance with professional and firm standards.
- Serve as Engagement Manager for assigned clients, including pre-engagement planning, workflow oversight, budgeting, billing, and delivery of final outputs.
- Act as a senior advisor and escalation point on complex accounting and assurance matters, applying advanced professional judgment and technical expertise.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships, working alongside Partners to deliver timely, high-quality service and value-added insights.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ businesses to anticipate needs, identify risks, and support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure quality control and consistency across a portfolio of engagements, including review of complex financial statements and working papers.
- Mentor, coach, and develop Managers, Senior Accountants, and engagement teams, supporting performance, progression, and succession planning.
- Oversee engagement resourcing, timelines, and issue resolution to ensure sustainable delivery across multiple teams and priorities.
- Identify and drive process improvements, efficiencies, and enhancements to methodologies, templates, and technology use.
- Contribute to practice development, strategic initiatives, and business development efforts aligned with experience and interest
- Model firm values and leadership behaviours, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a positive, high-performing culture
What you bring to the table
• CPA designation required.
• Approximately 6+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
• Proven ability to lead and oversee complex engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and strong client outcomes.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, assurance methodologies, and/or income tax rules and regulations.
• Demonstrated client-relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and provide advisory insight.
• Experience supervising teams, reviewing files, and delivering constructive coaching and feedback.
• Strong organizational and project-management capabilities, with the ability to balance multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional presence.
• Experience with CaseWare, tax preparation software, and advanced Excel skills considered an asset.
• Bilingualism in French/English is considered an asset

Your schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Salary range: $105,000-$145,000 per annum.
