Your role:

• Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the accounting office.
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls, providing accurate information or directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier packages, and confidential client documents, ensuring secure handling at all times.
• Maintain the front desk area, client waiting area, and meeting rooms in a clean and organized condition.
• Support the accounting team with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, data entry, and preparing documents for client meetings.
• Maintain and update client lists or contact information as directed.
• Help organize and track the flow of client tax documents during peak seasons.
• Perform other administrative and reception duties as assigned to enhance overall office efficiency.

Other delegated tasks that may be assigned by a Manager or Partner.

What you bring to the table:

• Previous experience in an accounting office or professional services environment is preferred but not required.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, especially during busy tax seasons.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach, demonstrating professionalism and discretion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize based on workload demands.
• Comfortable handling confidential financial documents and sensitive client information.

Your schedule: 

Monday to Friday (Saturdays during tax season)

Salary range: $21.50 - $23.00
