We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated and client-driven individual to join our CFO team as a Manager, to assist us in providing service excellence, ensuring all aspects of our clients’ needs are met and exceeded. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Oversight & Compliance
    Lead the review of client financial files to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal standards.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    Mentor Accounting and Data Advisors through structured feedback and coaching; champion professional growth and succession planning.
  • Client Relationship Management
    Act as the primary liaison for clients on financial reporting and advisory matters, delivering strategic insights and exceptional service.
  • Full-Cycle Accounting Governance
    Oversee reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation; ensure integrity and timeliness of month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Strategic Contribution
    Drive operational improvements and participate in high-level initiatives, including process optimization and organizational development.
  • Regulatory Filings & Risk Management
    Ensure accurate preparation and submission of GST and other compliance filings; proactively manage financial risk.
  • Workflow Coordination
    Collaborate with peers and senior leadership to plan, prioritize, and execute file completion strategies efficiently.
  • Client-Centric Service Delivery
    Foster strong client relationships through personalized, attentive service and proactive problem-solving.
  • Talent Onboarding & Training
    Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training to build a high-performing team aligned with organizational goals.

The successful candidate will have:

  • at least 5 years’ experience in full cycle bookkeeping procedures
  • at least 5 years’ experience in QuickBooks Online is required.
  • advanced knowledge of financial reporting, tax and strategic planning
  • Tech Stack experience including integration of apps is considered an asset.
  • excellent computer skills and willingness to upgrade such skills, as required.
  • A CPA designation is preferred
