Fernando Catala, John Demetri, Johanna Leh, Inderpreet Mand and Simi Sodhi have distinguished themselves with their technical proficiency, leadership and dedication to excellence, earning the coveted position of partner.

From addressing evolving client needs to leading strategic internal initiatives, firm growth will continue to be a focus for the new partners, who collectively bring a diverse set of expertise and experience to the leadership team. Mand provides audit, accounting and advisory services to clients with a specialty in the entertainment and new media industry, while Leh advises clients on the application of new technologies to enhance their day‑to‑day accounting through the Baker Tilly Advantage program. Demetri specializes in providing cross‑border tax planning and tax compliance services to clients in both Canada and the U.S., while Sodhi is experienced in a range of specialty areas, including public company audits, corporate finance, valuations and litigation support, and is slated to obtain the prestigious Chartered Business Valuator designation later this year. Meanwhile, as CFO, Catala will continue to focus on evolving the firm and leading in its growth objectives.
