As our Department Support Executive, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our tax team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Provide excellent administrative support to the Audit & Assurance department;
  • Work side by side with associates and department managers to proactively address their day-to-day needs and help them manage the A&A service area independently with minimal supervision;
  • Take the initiative and be proactive on a daily basis in making decisions and completing tasks within their area of expertise;
  • Coordinate and lead planning sessions with the A&A team to assist with project execution;
  • Manage the status and timelines of multiple tasks for various clients and provide weekly updates to the A&A team;
  • Ability to multitask; handling both client and internal communication;
  • Manage databases and information systems;
  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations.

A successful candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years of administrative experience in a professional and dynamic customer service-oriented environment; experience in a public accounting environment is an asset;
  • Exceptional commitment to customer service and continuous improvement;
  • Ability to manage highly confidential information;
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment according to their relative importance and urgency;
  • Ability to anticipate needs and take action proactively;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
