We are looking for an Office Administrator to join our Thompson, Manitoba team —this is a role where your expertise will drive meaningful outcomes, and your ambition will help shape what comes next. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Serve as a first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment
- Manage reception area and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Answer incoming calls promptly and effectively, maintaining accurate call logs
- Provide general administrative support, including assisting with office equipment, travel bookings and scheduling, meeting setup, and internal events
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring accurate logs are maintained
- Review draft financial statements, correspondence, and other documents for accuracy and clarity
- Create physical and digital versions of final product and add to client’s digital permanent files
- E-file tax returns and submit documentations to CRA and other government bodies
- Coordinate electronic signature via Adobe Sign
- Coordinate file transfers between offices
- Manage staff facility matters, including building access, parking, and maintenance requests as required
- Order office supplies, promotional products and coordinate inventory as needed
- Perform other administrative duties as required
A successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in a professional services environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Forms, Powerpoint)
- Professional, client-service oriented approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence in their ability to lead and solve problems
- A positive outlook and the ability to maintain good working relationships with others
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client and employee information
- Caseware/Caseview experience is an asset
