Your role:

As an articling student, you will be exposed to all aspects of client service work including accounting, assurance and tax engagements. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging assignments for a variety of clients in diverse industries.

What you bring to the table:

• The desire to obtain a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in a mid-size public accounting firm;

• Completed a Bachelor's degree program that meets the prerequisites for enrollment in the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP);

• Ready to start the CPA program by Fall of 2026;

• Good academic standing;

• Great organization and communication skills;

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word;

• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional;

• Ability to excel in high high-pressure working environment;

• Involvement in extra-curricular activities outside of academics; and

• Experience or desire to work in a team-based environment.

Where you’ll work:

We are currently hiring for our offices in Victoria-Uptown, Victoria-Westshore, and Sidney, BC. 

Job type: 

Full-time, permanent. 

Your schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch. In March and April, hours switch to 8:00am - 5:00pm. In July and August, hours switch to 8:30am - 4:30pm. Overtime is required during peak times. Flexible work arrangements are available once staff settle into their role.

Salary range: $50,000-$58,000/year
