Waterloo, ON – From Sept. 13-15, 2019, Baker Tilly Canada will gather in Nashville, TN for its annual Partners’ Conference, an event geared to foster connection between firms, strengthen the Canadian network nationwide and empower attendees with insights and inspiration to build great futures now, for tomorrow.
In light of the network’s recent change from Collins Barrow to Baker Tilly, this will be its first annual Partners’ Conference under the new brand. Taking place in Nashville, TN, this year’s conference is the perfect spot to honour the network’s roots and look forward to the future. It comes as no surprise, then, that the theme for this year’s conference is “All the Right Notes.”
“Our annual Partners’ Conference is always a highly anticipated event, perhaps even more so this year,” says National chair Grant Galbraith. “Our leaders from coast to coast will be gathering to analyze where we’ve been and set strategies for the coming year. These three days are not only about creating the conditions for the network to be successful, but also setting our partners up for success with a focus on connection and professional development opportunities.”
The weekend’s programming – tuned to the keys of uniting and aligning on objectives, strategies and visions – is certain to augment the powerful Canadian presence within the global Baker Tilly International network. Sessions with renowned speakers and authors Daniel Burrus (Accelerating Growth) and Chris Mathers (Cyber Security: The Invisible War), along with a variety of pitch-perfect breakout sessions, will turn the page on new technology, learning initiatives and opportunities to collaborate. The grand finale, a keynote with Jon Montgomery (Dreaming Big: Living Bigger), will leave partners inspired to grow, achieve the next level of success and create even greater value for their clients.
“As trusted experts in providing value-added audit, tax and advisory solutions to our clients, our partners will have the opportunity to learn from the thought leaders and authors on this year’s conference schedule,” says Galbraith. “Our programming is truly a reflection of our commitment to investing in the tools of tomorrow to continue growing our local expertise, providing service excellence and building great futures.”
