28 janv. 2015

Toronto, ON – On January 28, 2015, Dale Wilson, P.Eng, MBA, director of Collins Barrow Toronto’s SR&ED tax-recovery practice, was a panelist at Interactive Ontario’s “i-ON Regions,” a seminar and town hall at the Accelerator Centre in Kitchener-Waterloo.

Collins Barrow Toronto co-sponsored the one-day event aimed at an audience of interactive digital media (IDM) companies ranging from videogame and mobile content creators to e-learning program developers.

Dale’s session, “Tax Credits IDM Creators Can’t Afford to Ignore,” explored the incentives, as high as 40%, to 50% of qualifying expenditures, available to these companies through the Ontario Interactive Digital Media Tax Credit (OIDMTC) and the federal government’s Scientific Research & Experimental Development program.

“For many eligible companies these incentive programs serve as an important source of funding,” notes Dale.
