(PETERBOROUGH) By January, Seven Hils Developments plans to open a 21,000-square-foot office at the corner of Charlotte and Stewart streets.
Named the Collins Barrow building, the national accounting company, is relocating its Peterborough office to the first two floors of the three storey building.
Mark Mooney, a managing partner, says staff are looking forward to the move from their Sheridan Street office, which they have outgrown.
"It's going to be a good working space," he says.
He says about 60 people will be working in their offices. The company, he adds, have been operating in Peterborough for 75 years and plan to be here for a long time.
"For us and Collins Barrow, it is an exciting day. I already feel that we've come a long way from the beginning," says Andrew Wasson, vice president of operations with Seven Hills.
City councillor Dean Pappas notes the building will be part of the gateway for downtown. He points to past success Seven Hills have had with restoring the Turnbull Building.
