Yorkton, SK – It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our friend and colleague Yvonne Strocen, partner at Baker Tilly SK.
Yvonne leaves a legacy of passionate dedication to excellence in her work and strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Over the years, she shared her extensive knowledge in the small business sector, providing valuable tax and business advice to the retail and agricultural industries. In March of 1989, she began working as an accountant with Parker Quine in Yorkton. Finding this a fulfilling career choice, she worked to become a Chartered Accountant and then a partner in the firm now known as Baker Tilly SK.
Friends and colleagues from Baker Tilly Canada offer their deepest condolences to Yvonne’s family and friends: sister Lori (Gord) and nephew Matthew, brother Sheldon (Michelle), nieces Sonya and Sydney, sister Ardis (Rick), and her children Shelley and Daniel.
To honour her life, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 24 at Leson’s Funeral Home in Canora. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Saskatchewan Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
