For the past five years, Leena has been the leader of the Management Advisory Services practice and the Government and Public Sector Advisory Services practice at Collins Barrow Ottawa LLP. Her extensive tax experience has led Leena to successfully strategize, execute and manage projects in both public and private sector industries including various levels of government, not-for-profit organizations, mid-sized enterprises and multi-national organizations. With her strong project management skills and dedication to value, Leena continues to assist clients in strengthening their goals, improve business processes and meet their strategic objectives. Leena is an active member of the Baker Tilly International, North American Governance, Risk and Compliance Committee where she helps clients achieve value through borderless advice and provides access to the world through the BTI network.
As a mother and a professional, Leena is a strong believer that our children are future leaders and actively strives to provide support for organizations that teach and shape lives through education, sports and life skills initiatives. A firm believer in continuous development, Leena empowers youth with this message of motivation: Always stay true to yourself, believe in yourself and follow your dream with integrity. Do not be afraid to take a calculated risk to achieve your goals.
Every year, Leena also attends and contributes towards the fundraisers, charity events, auctions and galas coordinated by the Canadian Cancer Society and Ottawa Hospital. First hand experiences with the disease have led Leena to directly serve towards the goal of beating cancer and healing lives.
