Biography

Dean Faught is a Principal at Baker Tilly REO’s Cobden office with more than 25 years of experience in farm accounting and serving small businesses.

Prior to joining Baker Tilly in 2015, Dean operated a private accounting practice, where he worked alongside his wife and oldest daughter. His strong community roots mean that the people he serves are more than just his clients — they are also neighbours and friends — which makes integrity a core tenet of his business philosophy.

Throughout his career, Dean has built a reputation for delivering exceptional service, based on his belief that the best business results come from maintaining strong relationships with clients. Drawing from his hands-on experience operating a farm, he takes care to understand the specific challenges facing his clients at different stages of their business as he finds ways to help reduce their tax burden.

In addition to his CPA and CGA designations, Dean holds a diploma in business administration from Sir Sanford Fleming College in Peterborough. Outside of work, you can find him spending time with his family in and around Cobden.
