Baker Tilly NS bids fond farewell to valued partner

Dartmouth, NS – Baker Tilly Nova Scotia congratulates outgoing partner Ian Stanley for his new role as principal and co-owner at Partners Global, a commercial real estate services firm.

“Ian has played an integral role in our growth and success for close to a decade, and we are proud to support him as he embarks on this next step,” says Grant Galbraith, managing partner at Baker Tilly Nova Scotia.

Obtaining his Chartered Professional Accountant (CA) designation in 2000 with a national firm based in Halifax, Stanley spent four years as controller for a mid-size manufacturing and construction company, progressing to CFO for six years before returning to public practice in 2011. He has been with what is now Baker Tilly ever since, specializing in audit and assurance.

“Ian has always had a passion for real estate and when this opportunity presented itself to him, well, his entrepreneurial senses were activated and there was no turning back”, says Galbraith. “We are certainly disappointed to lose a partner of Ian’s calibre. However, supporting the goals of our professionals is why Baker Tilly is a magnet for top talent. We are committed to our team’s success, and our entrepreneurial culture enables all our staff to be true to their ambitions. We have every confidence Ian will excel in his new venture and wish him every success throughout his journey.”
