Biography

Greg is a graduate of Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and was admitted to the Chartered Professional Accountants of Nova Scotia in 2004. He has completed Part III of the In-depth Tax course, the CPA Canada Corporate Reorganization course, and In-Depth Tax Issues for Owner-Managed Business course.  Greg is a frequent instructor for CPANS, CPA Canada and the Canadian Tax Foundation and has presented on income tax matters to a variety of local and regional business organizations.

Greg joined Baker Tilly Nova Scotia Inc. in 2012 as a Senior Tax Manager and became a Partner in 2013.  His practice focuses on Canadian tax planning for owner-managed businesses, estate and succession planning, corporate reorganizations, and charities and non-profit organizations.

Greg is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and a past Chair of its Atlantic Branch.  He is a current member and former board member of Family Business Atlantic (formerly CAFE Nova Scotia), a member and past president of the Halifax Estate Planning Council, and member of the Canadian Tax Foundation.

Greg has volunteered with the Bedford Minor Hockey Association, the Bedford Minor Baseball Association, and the Bedford Soccer Association.
