Biography

Damien received his Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2005 from McMaster University. He earned his designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant in 2008 and completed CPA Canada's In-Depth Tax Course in 2018. After six years with a large Canadian public company, and six years at another national firm, Damien joined Baker Tilly GWD as a senior tax manager in 2019 and became associate partner in 2022. He regularly assists clients across various industries with personal and business tax planning and compliance issues, including corporate restructuring, estate planning, tax planning for investment income, and annual filing obligations.
