Tell us about yourself.
I spent my entire career at Baker Tilly WM LLP (and its predecessors). I enjoy dealing with entrepreneurs and working directly with owner-managers. I love to golf and to travel. My favourite places to travel to involve nature and seeing wild animals in their natural settings, especially bears!
How do you think Baker Tilly WM will need to adapt to the new world following COVID-19?
COVID-19 has shown us that it is possible to work remotely but we have to adapt to new ways of communicating, relying more on the use of emails, portals and apps. I never heard of Zoom before March 2020.
Outside of work, what keeps you busy?
I love to golf and when there’s an opportunity in my spare time, I’m out on the links.
What do you value most about working at Baker Tilly WM?
The people is what I value most. I’ve developed life-long friends through working in Baker Tilly WM.
What is the best advice anyone has given you?
The business world is small, especially in the Lower Mainland, so never burn your bridges.
