Our team has an opportunity for a Senior Analyst, US Cross Border Tax to join our robust and renowned 28-person Tax team grow along with BTNS! We will support you to do what you do best every day by offering you:

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Use your technical expertise and research abilities in Canadian, US, and Cross Border Tax law to prepare Canadian and US tax returns and other tax filings/schedules, including supporting documentation
  • Prepare basic accounting records for sole proprietorships and investments
  • Engage directly with clients, other advisors, and tax authorities to make timely progress with files
  • Work collaboratively as part of the most engaged team to bring our strategy to life

A successful candidate will have:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or similar field
  • Canadian CPA, US CPA, In-Depth Tax, or other relevant designation preferred
  • 1-4 years of experience in a similar role preparing tax returns of various complexities   
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional client service experience, preferably in a professional services environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills proven to build relationships
  • Technological strength with MS 365, Tax and Accounting software, online portals, etc.
  • Curiosity and a passion for learning
