Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Employee Relations: providing effective onboarding of new employees. Providing employee engagement opportunities through the use of HR data analytics to assess the experience of our employees to determine how we can continuously enhance our engagement.
  • Providing support with campus recruitment for Co-Op and CPA students.
  • Maintaining HRIS system
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws & regulations, staying current on HR trends and legal requirements.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and create development programs to support employee growth.
  • Other responsibilities as opportunities arise.

A successful candidate will have:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or a related discipline is required. CPHR or equivalent designation is an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in Human Resources in progressive roles in diverse, professional, fast-paced client service environments where collaboration with all levels of the organization happens daily.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional proactive ownership, planning, solution-finding, attention to detail, and project management abilities to excel in a high-performance environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, and other online portals as well as MS 365/Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, Teams, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and work environments
  • Integrity: Commitment to ethical practices and maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism
