A 4 partner, locally-owned firm with offices in Winchester, Morrisburg, Carleton Place and Cobden, our offices serve companies at all stages of their development from emerging and owner-managed businesses to large private companies, not-for-profit organizations, professionals and individuals.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of corporate client financial statements (compilations)
  • Preparing HST returns
  • Preparing individual and corporate tax returns
  • Interact with the clients accounting software including posting to general ledgers, reconciling accounts, and reviewing reports
  • Collaborate with peers and management on file planning and completion within time constraints
  • Provide personal, attentive service to clients to encourage productive working relationships

A successful candidate will have:

  • Graduate of a College or University accounting or bookkeeping program
  • Minimum of 3 years accounting experience with a small to mid-sized business or professional accounting firm
  • Experience with CaseWare, Excel and Quickbooks considered an asset. 
  • Sound judgement regarding confidential and sensitive matters
  • Self-motivation with an ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong proficiency in client-focused service
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
