Baker Tilly Windsor is looking for an Accounting Technician to join our Accounting Services Group. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and executing efficient compilation and bookkeeping engagements, including a very good understanding of HST, payroll administration and foreign exchange.
  • Assisting with client relationships which includes contacting clients directly for the purpose of answering questions, identifying requirements, and anticipating and resolving problems.
  • Preparing corporate and personal tax returns using related software programs.

A successful candidate will have:

  • A College diploma or University degree from a business program, and at least five years of direct bookkeeping or public accounting experience.
  • Proven technical skills using Quick Books (online), Sage Accounting (online) and the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • A self-motivated ability to work independently and in a team environment.

This position is meant for non-CPA stream candidates.
