There is an opportunity within our Client Accounting Services Group for talented, motivated individuals who are focused on customer service to join our team.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Bookkeeping from client supplied records
  • Preparing payroll and related filings
  • Preparing year end files for accountants
  • Preparing T4, T5, HST, EHT & WSIB returns
  • Providing assistance and support to clients on bookkeeping and/or software issues

A successful candidate will have:

  • Certification in Quickbooks Desktop and QuickBooks.
  • Other computer skills including Excel, Sage50. Experience with Caseware would be an asset.
  • Minimum of two years of accounting experience with a small to mid-size business or professional firm would be preferred.
  • Experience with payroll including taxable benefits and required remittances.
  • Experience in the completion of T4, T5, HST, EHT & WSIB returns.
  • Sound judgment regarding confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of a client-focused environment including related deadlines and the ability to work to meet those deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
