Biography

Born and raised in Dartmouth, Sean spent two years at Elon University in North Carolina studying accounting before graduating from Saint Mary’s University in 1997. He obtained his Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation in 2003, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation in 2005 and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2015.

Walker has spent the last 15 years in senior financial roles with not-for-profit and private companies, most recently as an outsourced CFO-for-hire for several small- to medium-sized businesses. Sean recently joined Baker Tilly Nova Scotia as partner on the BT Advantage team with a focus on helping clients as part-time CFO, controller and with bookkeeping services.
