Biography

Samantha journeyed south from her entrepreneurial family in Dawson City, Yukon to complete a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Calgary in 2002.  She discovered she had a passion for accounting so joined us in November 2004 where she continued her studies ultimately obtaining her CA designation in 2008.

Samantha’s family business experience was in the hospitality and retail sectors and we’ve been told she started giving her parents business advice well before she was 10! Samantha thrives in public practice, and really enjoys the relationships she has developed with our clients over the past ten years. 

Samantha’s latest and greatest adventure began in 2011 with the birth of her funny, spirited little girl. Samantha and her husband enjoy spending time outdoors fostering their appreciation for this wonderful place they have decided to call home, introducing their little one to downhill skiing, cross country skiing, hiking, fishing, camping, biking, and more recently back country camping. She also enjoys cooking and has a passion for local, sustainably grown food and a self-professed cook book addiction.
